Lotus Notes and Domino Connector
Still running Notes databases? Rapidi keeps them in step with the rest of the business, without rewriting them.
Rapidi connects to Lotus Notes and Domino databases, versions 4.6 to 8.5, through a RapidiConnector on a machine with a Lotus Notes client installed. The connection uses that client's notes.ini and ID file to reach a database on a Domino server or a local path, and data can move both ways.

What does this connector actually do?
The short version: RapidiConnector uses a local Notes client to open your Notes databases, and Rapidi reads and writes their fields like any other connection.

Can Rapidi still connect to Lotus Notes?
Yes. Lotus Notes and Domino 4.6, 5.0, 6.0, 6.5, 7.0, 8.0 and 8.5 are supported, through RapidiConnector and a Notes client on the same machine.
Does it read and write Notes data?
Both. Rapidi transfers data to and from Notes databases. Rich text fields can be written, but are read as text only.

What about newer Domino versions?
The documentation lists versions up to 8.5. If you run a later release, tell us which one and we will check it with you before you plan around it.

What does the Lotus Notes connector cost?
Nothing on its own. Rapidi is priced per subscription plan rather than per connector, so adding Lotus Notes does not change the licence.
