Connector
HubSpot Connector
Move HubSpot companies, contacts and deals in and out of your ERP without writing code, and without paying for HubSpot Data Hub.
Rapidi connects to HubSpot through its own HubSpot connection, authorized from MyRapidi in a few clicks. It reads and writes companies, contacts, deals, line items and custom objects, so records can move both ways. The pre-built template pairs HubSpot with Dynamics 365 Business Central, and no HubSpot Data Hub subscription is needed.
- What it connects to
- HubSpot CRM, the cloud service, reached directly from MyRapidi.
- Which way the data moves
- Both ways. Rapidi reads HubSpot records and creates and updates them.
- What you need
- A HubSpot user who can authorize the connection, plus two ExternalID properties and the Rapidi custom objects for the standard template.
What does this connector actually do?
The short version: you authorize Rapidi once from HubSpot, Rapidi reads the design of your HubSpot account, and every field in it becomes something you can map.
| Records it moves | Companies, contacts, deals and their line items, plus custom objects. The standard template uploads two Rapidi custom objects so posted sales invoices and their lines can live in HubSpot. |
|---|---|
| Direction | Both ways. Rapidi reads HubSpot records, and creates and updates them, including writing the ERP number back onto the HubSpot record. |
| How records are matched | Through an ExternalID property on each side. HubSpot stores the ERP number, the ERP stores the HubSpot record ID, so the same customer stays one customer. |
| Filters | Up to five per transfer, the source control filter included. HubSpot sets that limit. Operators include equal to, less than, between, in a list, has a value and contains a token. |
| How often it runs | On a schedule you set. The shortest interval depends on your plan, from one hour on Entry down to one minute on Unlimited. |
| How it signs in | You click Authorize in MyRapidi, log in to HubSpot and pick the account to connect. Re-authorizing later follows the same steps. |
| What you set up once | Create the connection in the Connections tab, authorize it, click Test, then Read Design so Rapidi can see your objects and fields. |
Which integrations use this connector?
Every Rapidi integration with HubSpot on one side runs through this connection. The pre-built template today pairs it with Business Central, and HubSpot with Dynamics 365 Finance is on the list of standard integrations too.

HubSpot and Business Central
Customers, contacts, opportunities, items, prices and posted sales invoices, kept in step so marketing and finance see the same customer.

What do you set up in each system?
For the HubSpot and Business Central template, both systems get a small, fixed list of additions.
| What you are comparing | In HubSpot | In Business Central |
|---|---|---|
| Matching fields | An ExternalID property on Companies and on Contacts | An ExternalID field on the Customer, Contact and Item cards |
| What that field holds | The Business Central customer or contact number | The HubSpot record ID |
| Extra objects | The Rapidi custom objects for posted sales invoices and invoice lines, uploaded once | None |
| Other set-up | A HubSpot workflow that copies the deal ID onto its line items. Rapidi supplies the workflow details and the code for it | Publishing the audit timestamp fields is recommended, so changes can be picked up by time |
Existing fields can stand in for the new ExternalID fields if they are already there. The line item workflow exists because HubSpot only links deals to line items through its API.

Frequently asked questions
Can Rapidi connect to HubSpot?
Yes. HubSpot is one of the connection types in MyRapidi. You pick it, authorize it from the HubSpot login page, test it and read the design, and the transfers are configured from a template rather than written as code.
Do I need a HubSpot Data Hub subscription?
No. HubSpot's own Data Sync needs a paid Data Hub subscription for advanced field mappings. With Rapidi you do not need a Data Hub subscription at all, which removes that recurring cost.
Can Rapidi write into HubSpot, or only read from it?
Both. In the standard Business Central template, Rapidi creates companies and contacts in HubSpot and writes the Business Central number back into them, and it reads HubSpot records into the ERP.
Which ERP systems does the HubSpot connector work with?
The pre-built template is HubSpot with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Rapidi also lists HubSpot with Dynamics 365 Finance among its standard integrations.
How many filters can a HubSpot transfer have?
Five, including the source control filter. The limit is set by HubSpot, not by Rapidi. Filters support operators such as equal to, greater than, between, in a list and contains a token.
What happens when HubSpot rejects a record?
HubSpot returns an error with a reason. The ones the Rapidi documentation lists as most common are a duplicate record, a missing required property, an invalid dropdown value, insufficient permissions and the HubSpot rate limit.
What does the HubSpot connector cost?
Nothing on its own. Rapidi is priced per subscription plan rather than per connector, so adding HubSpot does not change the licence.
