Wholesale and Distribution Data Integration
Wholesalers and distributors keep stock, prices and orders in the ERP and sell from the CRM. Rapidi keeps the two holding the same data, so a rep knows what can be delivered before promising it.
Why wholesalers and distributors struggle with integration
The same problems turn up in almost every wholesale and distribution business we are called into.
- Stock, price lists and open orders sit in the ERP, and sales reps in the field cannot reach them.
- Sales people share a few ERP logins just to look up a customer or an item.
- Thousands of products with several prices each, and dealer levels on top, are too much to keep right by hand.
- Order and invoice volume is high, and custom APIs cannot keep up with it.
- The CRM was bought but sits unused, because it knows nothing the ERP knows.
Each one slows the business down, and together they leave the warehouse and the sales floor on different versions of the truth.
Why wholesalers and distributors choose Rapidi
- Decades on these systems. Rapidi has connected Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce since long before either was in the cloud, including the versions distributors still run.
- No code. Transfers are configured on screen, so an integration does not become a development project.
- Older ERP versions included. Dynamics NAV back to the early Navision releases connects, not only the current products.
- Built for multi-entity groups. Several companies or databases can run on one setup rather than one integration each.
- On-premise reachable. An ERP inside your own network is connected without opening inbound ports.
- Transparent cost. Published pricing, so the budget does not depend on a scoping exercise.
- Support from people who know both systems. An in-house team, not a ticket queue.
What you get out of it
Less manual work
Transfers run on their own, so nobody re-types an order that already exists in another system.
Stock reps can trust
Item and availability data reaches the people talking to customers, so they promise what can be delivered.
Every price list in the CRM
Products and prices come from the ERP rather than from a spreadsheet somebody maintains.
One version of the order
Orders, invoices and payments line up between the CRM and the ERP.
Lower build cost
Pre-built templates instead of a bespoke interface written and maintained for you.
Room to grow
Add a company, a warehouse system or a sales channel without starting again.
How Rapidi connects your wholesale and distribution systems
Ready-made templates on a secure cloud platform, joining the systems that hold the stock and win the order.
ERP and finance
Dynamics 365 Business Central, Finance and Operations, NAV, GP, C5 and Oracle NetSuite. Almost any other ERP, such as SAP or Syspro, connects through the generic interfaces.
CRM and sales
Salesforce, Dynamics 365 Sales and HubSpot, so the sales side sees stock, price lists, orders and invoice history.
Databases and reporting
Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, IBM DB2 and Google BigQuery, for the reporting layer the business already uses.
Three steps, no developer
- Connect. Choose the systems you want to integrate.
- Configure. Set up the transfers on screen, field by field.
- Sync. Data moves automatically, in real time or on the schedule you set.
What that looks like in practice
Homespice Decor imports rugs and décor and wholesales them to around 25,000 retailers in the United States and Canada. It carries about 3,000 products with up to eight prices each, all of it reachable only inside Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Rapidi brought inventory, price lists, open orders and payment history into Salesforce, refreshed every two hours, and the company saved roughly half a full-time job a week.
In their own words
What customers say
“Having our Salesforce and MS Dynamics NAV integrated dramatically increased the value of Salesforce, since we can see all our information needed inside Salesforce, accessible from anywhere.”
Operational Chief Manager, Homespice Decor
“It’s a rapid, supportive and economical solution that will help grow our IT ecosystem in the future due to its high scalability and adaptability.”
Head of IT, Dutco Tennant
“Rapidi’s data integration solution was recommended by our CRM partner and made it possible to take advantage of the valuable data in our systems. The data coming from our ERP system to our CRM system can now be used in a product matrix, where we can get an overview the total sales made by product and by client over time. Having this overview gives us a competitive advantage and leads to more sales.”

Frequently asked questions
Which ERP systems can Rapidi connect for a wholesaler or distributor?
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Finance and Operations, Dynamics NAV, Dynamics GP, Dynamics C5 and Oracle NetSuite all have their own connector. Rapidi is flexible enough to integrate Salesforce with almost any other ERP, such as SAP or Syspro, through the REST, OData and ODBC interfaces.
Can our sales reps see stock and price lists without an ERP licence?
Yes. Item, stock and price data is transferred into the CRM, so the people talking to customers look it up there rather than logging into the ERP.
Our ERP is an old Dynamics NAV. Is that a problem?
No. Rapidi connects Dynamics NAV from the early Navision releases through NAV 2018, as well as Business Central. Older versions connect through C/Front, later ones through SQL and Web Services.
How often does the data move?
In real time when a record changes, or on a schedule you set per object: daily, hourly, every 10 minutes, every minute or triggered, depending on the subscription plan. Orders can move as they are raised while the item catalogue syncs overnight.
Can Rapidi reach an ERP that runs on our own servers?
Yes. The RapidiConnector sits inside your network and uses one outbound port, with no fixed IP addresses and no inbound ports to open. Traffic is encrypted with TLS 1.2 or 1.3.
