The Rapidi iPaaS: a No-Code Cloud Integration Platform

Rapidi connects your business applications and databases, in the cloud and on premises, and keeps them holding the same data in real time or on a schedule. You configure it on screen from a template, without writing code.

  • No code: integrations are configured, not programmed, even when you extend them.
  • Pre-built templates for the most common system pairs, free with your subscription.
  • Cloud, hybrid or on premises, including legacy systems.
  • More than 30 years of data integration, and support from the people who built it.

What is iPaaS?

iPaaS stands for integration platform as a service. It is a cloud platform that connects applications, databases and services, whether they run in the cloud or on your own servers, and moves data between them automatically. The systems stay consistent without a custom development project behind every connection.

iPaaS or SaaS?

SaaS is the software you use: a CRM, an ERP, email. iPaaS is what connects those systems so they work together. Salesforce and Business Central are SaaS. Rapidi is the iPaaS between them.

What makes Rapidi an iPaaS

Rapidi runs as a cloud service, so the platform is always current. It connects to applications through their APIs (SOAP, REST, OData and GraphQL) and directly to databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle and IBM DB2. That combination lets it join almost any two end points, including systems that have no modern API at all.

Why companies choose Rapidi

Four things set it apart from building integrations by hand or assembling a generic toolkit.

Configured, not coded

Mappings, transformations and schedules are set on screen. No programming is needed, even when you modify or extend the integration, so the people who use it can maintain it.

Templates for your system pair

Pre-configured templates carry proven best-practice transfers for pairs such as Salesforce and Business Central. You start from a working setup, and any table can still be integrated in any direction.

Cloud, hybrid or on premises

Cloud systems connect directly. On-premises systems connect through the RapidiConnector, and the hybrid option keeps the integration engine behind your own firewall.

Support you can reach

The in-house team that builds the product guides you from setup to go-live and after. Pricing is transparent, with no hidden costs.

How it works

Three steps from two disconnected systems to one consistent set of data.

Step one

Connect

Select the systems you want to integrate. Cloud systems connect directly. An on-premises system gets the RapidiConnector, which needs no fixed IP address and no inbound firewall port.

Step two

Configure

Start from the template for your pair and map the fields you use. Excel-style formulas align formats where a one-to-one mapping is not possible.

Step three

Sync

Group transfers into schedules that run daily, hourly, every 10 minutes, every minute, or when a record changes. Only new and changed data is sent, and failed transfers are reported by email.

The integration process

  • Assessment: we look at your systems and your integration requirements with you.
  • Configuration: the connections and transfers between your applications are set up.
  • Deployment: the integration goes live, and is monitored and improved as your business changes.

What the platform does

The building blocks behind every Rapidi integration.

FeatureWhat it does
RapidiConnectorLinks a system inside your network to the Rapidi service. It compresses, packs and encrypts the data before it leaves.
Read designReads a database's structure in one click, so its tables and fields are ready to map.
Data mappingAny table or field can be synchronised, standard or custom, in either direction.
StoreNewIDPairs records across the two systems, so an update finds the record it belongs to.
TimestampsTrack new and updated records at the source, which keeps transfers accurate and in the right order.
Mirror technologyTransfers only new or changed data, even when the database has no timestamps.
Advanced data toolboxExcel-like formulas to align data formats and field structures. Ready-made formulas ship in the templates.
Formulas and expressionsFor cases where a one-to-one mapping is not possible and extra lookups or formatting are needed.
SchedulesRun a group of transfers in a set order and at a set frequency, with their own notification rules.
Transfer frequencyDaily, hourly, every 10 minutes, every minute, or triggered, depending on your subscription.
NotificationsAn email when a transfer fails.
Logs and runsDetailed information on every schedule and transfer, and no customer data.
AI agent AlbertAssists with your integration setup and can carry out tasks on it for you.

Security and deployment

No inbound ports and no fixed IP address: your systems stay closed to the outside.

  • Data is SSL encrypted, packed and compressed by the RapidiConnector before it travels.
  • Encryption follows current TLS standards: TLS 1.2, with TLS 1.3 preferred.
  • No fixed IP address, and no inbound ports opened on your firewall.
  • Logs record how schedules and transfers ran, never your customer data.
  • The hybrid version runs the integration engine behind your firewall, so the data never leaves your network, while you configure and monitor it online.
  • Cloud, on-premises and older systems are all supported, including Dynamics NAV, AX, GP and CRM.

What companies use it for

CRM and ERP integration

Customers, orders, invoices and payments kept in step between the CRM and the ERP.

Ecommerce and inventory

The web shop's products, prices and stock levels kept aligned with the ERP as they change.

Replication across sites

Master data distributed from one Dynamics database to many. Stores keep selling when the network is down, and old and new systems can run in parallel during an upgrade.

Moving off legacy systems

Your data carried across when you upgrade, for example from Dynamics NAV to Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Commonly integrated systems

Pre-built connectors for these systems and many more. If yours is not listed, ask us: most systems with an API or a database can be connected.

CRM and marketing

Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, Dynamics CRM, HubSpot.

ERP

Dynamics 365 Business Central, Finance, Finance and Operations and Supply Chain Management. Dynamics NAV, AX, GP and C5. Oracle NetSuite, SAP, Syspro.

Commerce, HR and content

Shopify, Workday, Dayforce, Storyblok.

Databases and protocols

Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB, SQLite, IBM DB2 on iSeries, Google BigQuery. REST, SOAP, OData, GraphQL, ODBC.

Frequently asked questions

What is iPaaS?

Integration platform as a service: a cloud platform that connects business applications such as ERP, CRM, databases and cloud apps, and automates the data flows between them. Rapidi does this for Microsoft Dynamics (Business Central, Finance and Operations, NAV), Salesforce, HubSpot, SQL databases and more, with pre-built templates, flexible data mapping and configuration instead of code.

What is the difference between iPaaS and SaaS?

SaaS delivers a ready-to-use application over the internet, such as a CRM, an ERP or email. iPaaS connects those applications and data sources so they work together. In short, SaaS is the software you use, and iPaaS is what connects it.

How is Rapidi different from other iPaaS platforms?

It specialises in ERP and CRM, with logic built for Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce rather than generic connectors. Pre-configured templates cover the standard scenarios, most integrations are configured without custom development, it runs in the cloud, hybrid or on premises including legacy systems, and built-in monitoring and logging catch and track sync errors.

Is Rapidi secure?

Data is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.2 or 1.3, and packed and compressed by the RapidiConnector. No inbound firewall ports are opened, and the logs hold no customer data. With the hybrid version the data never leaves your network.

Can Rapidi integrate legacy systems?

Yes. It connects cloud, on-premises and hybrid installations, including Microsoft Dynamics NAV, AX, GP and CRM, and databases such as IBM DB2.
