E-commerce Data Integration

The online store takes the order, but the ERP ships it, invoices it and counts the stock. Rapidi moves the data between the store and the systems behind it, so the website, the sales team and finance work from the same numbers.

Why online sellers struggle with integration

The store and the back office grow up separately, and the gap shows in the same places.

  • Web orders are typed into the ERP by hand, which takes time and introduces errors.
  • Stock in the ERP and stock on the website drift apart, so the store sells what the warehouse does not have.
  • Items and prices are kept twice, once in the ERP and once in the store.
  • Customer records sit in the store, the CRM and the ERP, and none of them is complete.
  • Finance waits for exports before it can see what was sold and invoiced.

Each one costs time, and together they leave the website and the back office on different versions of the truth.

Why online sellers choose Rapidi

  • Decades on the ERP side. Rapidi has connected Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce since long before either was in the cloud.
  • No code. Transfers are configured on screen, so an integration does not become a development project.
  • If it has an API, it can usually connect. The REST Web Service connection reads the API description, and the objects and fields in it become something you can map.
  • Only what changed. Source Control asks the service for records newer than the last read, instead of the whole catalogue every time.
  • On-premise reachable. An ERP inside your own network is connected without opening inbound ports.
  • Transparent cost. Priced per subscription plan, not per connector.
  • Support from people who know both systems. An in-house team, not a ticket queue.

What you get out of it

Less manual work

Transfers run on their own, so nobody re-types an order that already exists in the store.

Stock that agrees

Stock figures move between the ERP and the store on the schedule you set, not when someone remembers.

Items kept once

Items and prices are maintained in one system and sent to the other.

One view of the customer

Customer data from the store reaches the CRM and the ERP, so sales and finance see the same buyer.

Invoices where they are needed

Orders and invoices line up between the ERP and the systems that face the customer.

Room to grow

Add a store, a company or a system when the business changes, without starting again.

How Rapidi connects your e-commerce systems

A secure cloud platform joining the store to the systems that fulfil, bill and sell.

Online stores

Store platforms connect through the REST Web Service connection, OData or GraphQL. An integration consultant scopes the connection with you.

ERP and finance

Dynamics 365 Business Central, Finance and Operations, NAV, GP, C5 and Oracle NetSuite, each with its own connector.

CRM and sales

Salesforce, Dynamics 365 Sales and HubSpot, so the sales side sees orders, stock and invoice history.

Three steps, no developer

  1. Connect. Choose the systems you want to integrate.
  2. Configure. Set up the transfers on screen, field by field.
  3. Sync. Data moves automatically, on the schedule you set.

Frequently asked questions

Which online store platforms can Rapidi connect?

Online stores connect through Rapidi's generic interfaces: the REST Web Service connection, OData and GraphQL. REST services are built in many different ways, so some need extra setup. Tell us which platform you run and what has to move, and we will tell you whether we have already used it with other customers.

Which ERP systems can the store be connected to?

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Finance and Operations, Dynamics NAV, Dynamics GP, Dynamics C5 and Oracle NetSuite all have their own Rapidi connector. Other ERPs, such as SAP, connect through the REST, OData and ODBC interfaces.

How does Rapidi learn what is in the store's API?

From its description. If the service publishes a JSON Schema or Swagger 2.0 metadata, you enter that URL in the Metadata URL field and press Read Design. Every object and field in the description then becomes something you can map. If there is no description, we need the endpoint details from you.

How often does the data move?

On a schedule you set. The shortest interval depends on your plan, from one hour on Entry down to one minute on Unlimited. With Source Control, each run asks the service only for records newer than the last value Rapidi read.

Can Rapidi reach an ERP that runs on our own servers?

Yes. The RapidiConnector sits inside your network and uses one outbound port, with no fixed IP addresses and no inbound ports to open. Traffic is encrypted with TLS 1.2 or 1.3.

What does it cost to add the store?

Rapidi is priced per subscription plan rather than per connector, so adding a REST service does not change the licence.
