Apparel and Fashion Data Integration
Apparel and fashion brands keep products, orders and invoices in the ERP and manage stockists in the CRM. Rapidi keeps the two holding the same data, down to the colour, season and fabric on each invoice line.
Why apparel and fashion brands struggle with integration
The same problems turn up in almost every apparel and fashion business we are called into.
- The CRM starts empty, because the customers and products already live in the ERP.
- Reporting by colour, pattern, season or fabric is only possible in the ERP, and that is slow and costly.
- Outstanding orders and their status are hidden from the people who talk to boutiques and department stores.
- Managers on the road cannot see sales figures without a separate portal in front of the ERP.
- The ERP is an older Dynamics version that most integration tools no longer reach.
Each one slows the business down, and together they leave the showroom and the back office on different versions of the truth.
Why apparel and fashion brands choose Rapidi
- Decades on these systems. Rapidi has connected Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce since long before either was in the cloud, including the versions fashion brands still run.
- No code. Transfers are configured on screen, field by field, so custom fields do not become a development project.
- Older ERP versions included. Dynamics NAV back to the early Navision releases connects, not only the current products.
- Built for multi-entity groups. Several companies or databases can run on one setup rather than one integration each.
- On-premise reachable. An ERP inside your own network is connected without opening inbound ports.
- Transparent cost. Published pricing, so the budget does not depend on a scoping exercise.
- Support from people who know both systems. An in-house team, not a ticket queue.
What you get out of it
Less manual work
Transfers run on their own, so nobody re-types an order that already exists in another system.
A CRM that starts full
Customers and products are copied across, so the sales team begins with useful data.
Reports in your own terms
Custom fields travel with the data, so reports can use the detail the business sells by.
One version of the order
Orders, invoices and credit notes line up between the CRM and the ERP.
Lower build cost
Pre-built templates instead of a bespoke interface written and maintained for you.
Room to grow
Add a company, a market or a system without starting again.
How Rapidi connects your apparel and fashion systems
Ready-made templates on a secure cloud platform, joining the systems that make the collection and sell it.
ERP and finance
Dynamics 365 Business Central, Finance and Operations, NAV, GP, C5 and Oracle NetSuite. Almost any other ERP, such as SAP or Syspro, connects through the generic interfaces.
CRM and sales
Salesforce, Dynamics 365 Sales and HubSpot, so the sales side sees orders, stock and invoice history.
Databases and reporting
Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, IBM DB2 and Google BigQuery, for the reporting layer the business already uses.
Three steps, no developer
- Connect. Choose the systems you want to integrate.
- Configure. Set up the transfers on screen, field by field.
- Sync. Data moves automatically, in real time or on the schedule you set.
What that looks like in practice
Derek Rose is a British maker of luxury nightwear. It exports over two thirds of its nightwear to boutiques and department stores worldwide. Rapidi connects Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Salesforce: customers, products, outstanding orders with status, invoices and credit notes. Colour, pattern, model, buying season and fabric type travel on every invoice line. Two days after signing up for a trial, all the invoices were inside Salesforce.

Frequently asked questions
Which ERP systems can Rapidi connect for a fashion brand?
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Finance and Operations, Dynamics NAV, Dynamics GP, Dynamics C5 and Oracle NetSuite all have their own connector. Rapidi is flexible enough to integrate Salesforce with almost any other ERP, such as SAP or Syspro, through the REST, OData and ODBC interfaces.
Can our own fields, such as colour or season, move with the data?
Yes. Transfers are configured on screen, field by field, so the fields your business reports on can be mapped between the ERP and the CRM.
Our ERP is an old Dynamics NAV. Is that a problem?
No. Rapidi connects Dynamics NAV from the early Navision releases through NAV 2018, as well as Business Central. Older versions connect through C/Front, later ones through SQL and Web Services.
How often does the data move?
In real time when a record changes, or on a schedule you set per object: daily, hourly, every 10 minutes, every minute or triggered, depending on the subscription plan. Orders can move as they are raised while the product catalogue syncs overnight.
Can Rapidi reach an ERP that runs on our own servers?
Yes. The RapidiConnector sits inside your network and uses one outbound port, with no fixed IP addresses and no inbound ports to open. Traffic is encrypted with TLS 1.2 or 1.3.
