Food and Beverage Data Integration
Food and beverage companies run the business in the ERP and sell through people on the road. Rapidi keeps the ERP and the CRM holding the same customer, order and invoice data, so the field team works from current numbers instead of a printout.
Why food and beverage companies struggle with integration
The same problems come up when a food or beverage business puts a CRM next to the ERP it already runs.
- Customer data sits in the ERP, but the people in the field cannot get to it.
- Sales gets spreadsheets that are out of date the moment they are printed or sent.
- Once a CRM arrives, every customer is typed in twice, and the two copies drift apart.
- A rep on a call has to promise to check instead of answering the question.
- The ERP runs on your own servers while the CRM is in the cloud, and nothing joins them.
Each one costs time, and together they put the office and the field on different versions of the customer.
Why food and beverage companies choose Rapidi
- Decades on these systems. Rapidi has connected Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce since long before either was in the cloud, including older versions still in use.
- No code. Transfers are configured on screen, so an integration does not become a development project.
- Older ERP versions included. Dynamics NAV back to the early Navision releases connects, not only the current products.
- On-premise reachable. An ERP inside your own network is connected without opening inbound ports.
- Built for multi-entity groups. Several companies or databases can run on one setup rather than one integration each.
- Transparent cost. Published pricing, so the budget does not depend on a scoping exercise.
- Support from people who know both systems. An in-house team, not a ticket queue.
What you get out of it
No double entry
Transfers run on their own, so nobody types a customer into the CRM that already exists in the ERP.
Current data in the field
Reps see the customer, order and invoice history on the day they visit, not the day a list was printed.
One version of the customer
Accounts, orders and invoices line up between the CRM and the ERP.
Answers on the call
The person talking to the customer can answer the question instead of promising to check.
Lower build cost
Pre-built templates instead of a bespoke interface written and maintained for you.
Room to grow
Start with one direction and extend the flow later, without starting again.
How Rapidi connects your food and beverage systems
Ready-made templates on a secure cloud platform, joining the system that holds your customers to the one your field team opens.
ERP and finance
Dynamics 365 Business Central, Finance and Operations, NAV, GP, C5 and Oracle NetSuite. Almost any other ERP, such as SAP or Syspro, connects through the generic interfaces.
CRM and sales
Salesforce, Dynamics 365 Sales and HubSpot, so the field team sees orders and invoice history.
Databases and reporting
Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, IBM DB2 and Google BigQuery, for the reporting layer you already use.
Three steps, no developer
- Connect. Choose the systems you want to integrate.
- Configure. Set up the transfers on screen, field by field.
- Sync. Data moves automatically, in real time or on the schedule you set.
What that looks like in practice
Sea Breeze is a fourth-generation, family-owned manufacturer and distributor of premium beverages on tap, delivering to thousands of customers across Metro New York and New Jersey on its own fleet. Its field staff used to get customer data as printed spreadsheets. Salesforce fixed that, but staff then had to sync Salesforce and its on-premise Microsoft Dynamics NAV by hand. Rapidi first pushed NAV data into Salesforce, then extended the flow back into NAV, and the duplicate typing went away.

Frequently asked questions
Which ERP systems can Rapidi connect for a food or beverage company?
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Finance and Operations, Dynamics NAV, Dynamics GP, Dynamics C5 and Oracle NetSuite all have their own connector. Rapidi is flexible enough to integrate Salesforce with almost any other ERP, such as SAP or Syspro, through the REST, OData and ODBC interfaces.
Can Rapidi reach an ERP that runs on our own servers?
Yes. The RapidiConnector sits inside your network and uses one outbound port, with no fixed IP addresses and no inbound ports to open. Traffic is encrypted with TLS 1.2 or 1.3.
How often does the data move?
In real time when a record changes, or on a schedule you set per object: daily, hourly, every 10 minutes, every minute or triggered, depending on the subscription plan. Orders can move as they are raised while the item catalogue syncs overnight.
We still run an older Dynamics NAV. Is that a problem?
No. Rapidi connects Dynamics NAV from the early Navision releases through NAV 2018, as well as Business Central. Older versions connect through C/Front, later ones through SQL and Web Services.
Do we need developers to set it up?
No. Transfers are configured on screen, field by field, using ready-made templates, so an integration does not become a development project.
