Salesforce-Oracle NetSuite Integration
Direct integration between Salesforce and Oracle NetSuite, so sales and finance work from the same customers, orders, invoices and payments. Configured on screen from a pre-built template, with no programming involved.
Automate the quote to cash process
A very common flow Rapidi integrates for its clients. A lead converted in Salesforce becomes an account, a contact and an opportunity, and the order then travels to NetSuite for fulfilment, invoicing and payment, with the status coming back to Salesforce.
Send orders to NetSuite
When a deal is closed in Salesforce it becomes a sales order in NetSuite. The sales order, the account and the contact are sent from Salesforce to NetSuite together, so nobody re-keys the order.
Keep customer accounts in step
Accounts in Salesforce become customers in NetSuite, and customers in NetSuite become accounts in Salesforce. Account and contact information is kept in sync.
Return invoice and payment status
NetSuite raises the invoice or credit note and records the payment. Invoice details, invoice status and payment status come back to Salesforce, so sales can see when an invoice is paid.
What you can integrate
These are the objects in the quote to cash flow Rapidi publishes for this pair. Other objects, standard and custom, can be added to the integration.

Get the template
You start from a pre-configured template with pre-mapped transfers rather than a blank canvas. Enable API access in NetSuite, create an Application ID for Rapidi, authorise your Salesforce org, and then adapt the mapping on screen to the fields your business actually uses.
Integration features
Built for one pair of systems rather than assembled from a toolkit, and specified so a technical buyer can qualify it before the first call.
Pre-configured template
Rapidi's templates cover the most common business processes, built from the requirements that come up again and again in integration projects. The transfers arrive pre-mapped and stay adaptable, so you change what differs in your setup instead of building from nothing.
Schedules you set
A schedule runs a group of transfers, in the order and at the frequency you choose: daily, hourly, every 10 minutes, every minute or triggered, depending on your subscription. An outbound message in Salesforce can also trigger a schedule to run at once.
Data moves both ways
The NetSuite connection transfers data to and from NetSuite. Accounts become customers and customers become accounts, orders go to NetSuite and invoice and payment status come back, and you choose the direction for each transfer.
Logs and notifications
Rapidi saves detailed information about every schedule and transfer it runs, without holding customer data. Each schedule has its own notification rules, so errors are logged and the right people are told about them.
Connects through the NetSuite API
Rapidi reaches NetSuite through the API access you enable in your own NetSuite account, using an Application ID you create for Rapidi. A tick box on the connection points it at a NetSuite sandbox instead of production.
Salesforce access you can withdraw
You authorise Rapidi from your Salesforce login. The access token is stored only in encrypted form, and you can withdraw Rapidi's access at any time from Connected Apps OAuth Usage in Salesforce Setup.
What the NetSuite connection needs
The NetSuite side is set up on one connection card in MyRapidi. This is everything it asks for.
- API access enabled in NetSuite, listed in the documentation as the one additional installation step.
- Your NetSuite account ID, found in the same place where you enable API access. It is usually a six-digit number.
- An Application ID you create in NetSuite for Rapidi, the same way you would for any external application that uses the NetSuite API.
- The user ID and password Rapidi signs in with, plus a Sandbox tick box if you are connecting to a NetSuite sandbox.
- A Test button to check that Rapidi can reach NetSuite, and Read Design to read NetSuite's tables and fields so they can be picked when you edit a transfer.
Quick facts about the solution
| Feature | Description |
|---|---|
| Data transfer | All data is compressed and encrypted during transfer. |
| Salesforce API and access | Rapidi connects through the Salesforce web API. It is Salesforce certified, which lets you integrate Salesforce Pro Suite without buying Salesforce API access. |
| NetSuite API and access | API access enabled in your NetSuite account, with an Application ID created for Rapidi. Production and sandbox accounts can both be connected. |
| Security | Encryption follows the current TLS standards, TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3 preferred. |
| IP address and firewall | No fixed IP addresses, and no inbound ports opened on your firewall. |
| Connection test | One button checks that Rapidi can access the connected system. |
| Read design | One click reads the tables and fields of a connection, so they are available for mapping. Run it again after you change the layout. |
| StoreNewID | Pairs synchronised records in the two systems, so each record stays linked to its counterpart. |
| New or modified data only | Changes only where tables carry timestamps, and Mirror where they do not, so only new and changed data moves. |
| Transfer frequency | Daily, hourly, 10 minutes, 1 minute, or triggered, depending on subscription level. |
| Advanced data toolbox | Excel-syntax formulas to align data formats and field structures. |
| Log and notification | Rapidi records detailed information about every schedule and transfer, and no customer data. |
| AI agent | Albert, the Rapidi AI agent, assists with your integration setup and can perform tasks on it. |

Frequently asked questions
What data can move between Salesforce and NetSuite?
Accounts and customers both ways, contacts, products and items, price books and pricing, closed deals and sales orders to NetSuite, and invoice details, invoice status and payment status back to Salesforce. Other objects, standard and custom, can be added.
Do we have to buy Salesforce API access?
No. Rapidi is Salesforce certified, so a Pro Suite organisation can be integrated without buying Salesforce API access separately.
What do we need to set up in NetSuite?
Enable API access, create an Application ID for Rapidi, and enter your NetSuite account ID, user ID and password on the NetSuite connection in MyRapidi. The account ID is in the same place where you enable API access.
Can we connect a NetSuite sandbox first?
Yes. The NetSuite connection has a Sandbox tick box for connecting to a NetSuite sandbox instead of your production account.
How often does the data sync?
On schedules you set: daily, hourly, every 10 minutes, every minute or triggered, depending on the subscription plan. An outbound message in Salesforce can trigger a schedule to run at once.
Can sales see NetSuite invoices and payments in Salesforce?
Yes. Invoice details and payment status come back to Salesforce, and Rapidi's free Sales History App shows sales history and other ERP information from NetSuite on the Salesforce side.
Can we withdraw Rapidi's access to Salesforce?
Yes, at any time, from Connected Apps OAuth Usage in Salesforce Setup. The access token Rapidi holds is stored only in encrypted form.
How is the data protected?
Transfers are encrypted with TLS 1.2 or 1.3, with no fixed IP addresses and no inbound firewall ports. Rapidi is Salesforce AppExchange certified and has passed the AppExchange security review, external penetration tests and an availability review.
