Feature Highlight: How to Send Schedule Notifications to Slack
Schedule Monitor has always told you when an integration schedule fails to run on time. Until now it could only tell you by email. You can now point it at a Slack channel as well, so a failed schedule shows up where your team is already working.

How to Send Schedule Notifications to Slack in MyRapidi
What the Slack Integration Does
Once your Slack workspace is connected, MyRapidi can post messages and notifications into the Slack channels you choose. There are three ways it can be used:
- Schedule Monitor notifications. Automatic. When a schedule fails to run through on time, the notification goes to your chosen Slack channel instead of email, or alongside it.
- Albert Chat. Manual and conversational. You ask Albert to post a message into one of your channels, public or private.
- AI Agent. Autonomous, following a workflow you have defined. This option is being released to customers shortly, and the Rapidi support team can set it up for you in the meantime.

Step-by-Step: Sending Schedule Notifications to Slack
Step 1: Connect Your Slack Workspace (Admin Only)
- Open the Admin Account menu, the wrench icon, and select Slack.
- Select Authorize Slack. You will be redirected to Slack's own permission screen.
- Slack asks for two permissions: one to see your channels and conversations, and one to act in them, which is what lets MyRapidi post the notification.
- Select Allow. You are returned to MyRapidi with your workspace and user confirmed, and MyRapidi appears as a connected app inside your Slack workspace.
This is a one-time step and only an account admin can do it. Everything after this reuses the same connection.

Step 2: Add a Slack Channel to Schedule Monitor
- Open Schedule Monitor in MyRapidi.
- Find the schedule and service you want to be notified about.
- Add your Slack channel name to the notification destinations, alongside the email address or in place of it.
- Save. Schedule Monitor posts a confirmation message into that channel straight away, so you know it is wired up correctly.
Step 3: Check What Arrives
- When a schedule fails to run through on time, the notification lands in the channel you nominated.
- The message names the schedule and the service, and carries the last error message recorded for that schedule.
- A link takes you back into MyRapidi to view the runs and investigate properly.
Good to Know
- No separate Slack setup is needed per schedule. Schedule Monitor uses the workspace you connected once.
- Communication runs one way for now. MyRapidi posts into Slack; Slack does not post back into MyRapidi.
- Slack and email are not mutually exclusive. A single schedule failure can notify a channel and an inbox at the same time.
- Notification messages deliberately do not include passwords or client secrets. Where an error involves credentials, the message says so rather than printing them.
Conclusion
If your team lives in Slack, routing schedule notifications there removes the gap between something failing and somebody noticing. The setup is a one-time authorization plus a channel name on the schedules you care about, and you can keep email running in parallel while you get used to it.

No. Where an error relates to credentials, the notification states that the detail is not shown rather than including the password or client secret.
